This tour gives you the chance to discover what Transylvania has to offer. It gives you the opportunity to get to know the local way of life and the customs that have been kept alive fror centuries. You can contemplate the picturesque landscapes, observe nature's diversity, try the local food and drink, completing the feeling of a new, unforgetable experience.   


Day One -  When you arrive, you will transfer from the airport to the traditional inn in Bran, where you can enjoy a welcoming evening meal and an introduction to the local culture.

Day Two – After you wake up, we are going to visit the famous Bran Castle - made famous by the classic gothic novel 'Dracula'. On our way to Sibiu - our destination for the day - we are taking a little detour to go up on the Transylavnian Alps on Transfagarasan, one of the most spectacular roads in the world. At nearly 7,000 feet we are recharging our batteries and contemplating the amazing scenery. We reach Sibiu in the evening, and after checking in at the hotel we are introduced to the atmospehere of this picturesque town.

Day Three – We will spend the whole day in the city of Sibiu. Amongst the highlights we will visit Bruckenthal Museum, which is the oldest cultural landmark in the country. You will also have the pleasure of visiting the open air Astra Museum, chronicling the history, life style and culture of the Romanian people from all over the region, and enjoy the arhitecture of the old city. 

Day Four – The next stop is to head deep into Transylvania's heart to reach Jidvei, an area famous for its rich vineyards. Producing some of the finest wines in the country, you can visit the cellars and treat your senses to the various local flavours. Not far away is Biertan, a quiet village with Saxon roots where you can get acquainted with a medieval atmosphere with a traditional lunch. In the afternoon we will visit the fortified church, which is part of the Unesco heritage, followed by an evening visit to Sighisoara, birthplace of the infamous Vlad "The Impaler", also known as Count Dracula!

Day Five – After staying the night in Sighisoara, we will spend the morning exploring the beautiful little town, one of the last inhabitaed citadels in Europe, taking you back centuries in time. After lunch we are heading to Sovata, a picturesque resort-town in beautiful Eastern Carpathians, famous for its lake, containing salty helio-thermal water, unique to Europe.

Day Six – We are visiting the salt mines of Praid, not far from Sovata, descending into a fascinatingly different world at more than 100 meters deep underground. The area is well known as an important centre for handcrafted souvenirs. From here we will enjoy "the pottery" experience in the village of Corund where masters in clay will teach us how to create our own pottery.

Day Seven – We dedicate the entire day visiting the old centre in Brasov. This is the second largest city in Transylvania and one of the most visited attractions in the country. Amongst the higlights are Black Church, the largest gothic building in South Eastern Europe, Sfatului Square is the town's cental attraction, and any native will tell you no visit is complete until you've seen it for yourself. We'll then visit the fortification system, and then we'll wonder in the old city with narrow cobbled streets. In the afternoon we are going to visit Poiana Brasov which is a beautiful ski resort, located 7 miles away.

Day Eight -  Transfer to the airport
